Our first time here, the young gentleman who took our order was so helpful and patient with our questions. Not only will we return, but we will try other items. the marinara sauce was not a hit, but the ranch was heavenly. A must try! the only issue was we ordered bone in wings and got boneless. our fault we should have checked before we left. the flavors of the cheese bread are fresh, and the ingredients on the pizza are delicious fresh and of great quality. not greasy in any way! crust is the best. GO GET SOME
Half the pizza we ordered was burned to the point that it was inedible. They would not replace it and all they offered was 20 dollars toward a future visit. Will NEVER order delivery from there again because they thought badly burned pizza was ok to deliver. We ate what we could salvage because we were hungry but even what we ate was burned.
Originally sat inside to dine in, but the place smelled like chemicals and sewage (bathroom/septic issues?), so asked to carry out instead. I could forgive that as a one off thing and still give it 5 stars if I didn't pay almost $40 for the most mediocre medium pizza and bread sticks that had no salt or flavor whatsoever. I hate to say it because I love supporting local places, but I could've spent half as much and gotten better food at Domino's 🥲
Great pizza. All-American cheesy breadsticks! We stopped by this cheery building this frigid night because it was glowing with the warmth that can only come from a pizza oven. We felt a blast of yeasty warmth as we entered and took in the traditional wood and brick decor. The employee greeted us and helped us to assemble our order, even suggesting a slight change to take advantage of a special discount previously unbeknownst to us. We waited just ten minutes for our pizzas as we slurped down DP and what? Two flavors of Mountain Dew?!? But yes the pizzas were excellent, with the small size being plenty for my largeness. The cheesy breadsticks are everything that an American could wish for in a cheesy breadstick. I mean, just think about that for a minute. Everything you could hope for. Come and order even just one cheesy breadstick and you will come to know as we know that it is cheesilicious.
UPDATED: I ordered two pizzas on a Friday night, I was told it would be 30 minutes, and waited in the restaurant while it was prepared, I ended up waiting over an hour. I understand Friday nights are busy, however there needs to be a level of trust. If you tell your customers it will take a certain time, that estimate you give needs to be pretty accurate. If I knew the wait would be longer I would have been able to better adjust my schedule or take my business elsewhere. Village Pizza has great pizza, it cost more than Tennys or other $5 pizza shops, but you can taste the difference in quality of ingredients. Customer service has always been good for me. The in store dining is often loud, and has only 6-8 tables, so we always choose pick up. You do need to order ahead as they take a little longer to make than other pizza places.
