Selling old ranch with your veggie trays is inappropriate at best, also while there the managers are talking about training their new secret shoppers, isn’t the idea to be secret? I used to love Ridley’s but the ranch thing really PMO.. and there’s no cucumbers in my vegetable tray

Very disappointing experience at Ridley’s today.
I usually choose this store because it’s closer to my house, and I’ve had good experiences before, but today was frustrating. I’m a mom of two — a 7-year-old with autism and ADHD, and an 11-month-old baby. While checking out, I unloaded everything except a few diet drinks on the bottom of the cart that I couldn’t reach or maneuver to scan.
I asked the cashier, an older woman with glasses, if she could please scan them for me. She said, “I’ll have you do it.” I asked again because I was clearly struggling while also trying to keep my daughter from running off and watching my baby, but she still refused to help.
It would have taken her two seconds to scan the drinks, and she had more space to do it than I did. She didn’t appear injured or unable to help — she simply chose not to.
It came across as rude, inconsiderate, and honestly really disappointing. I’ve had better customer service at Walmart than I did here today. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

I accidentally cut my wrist on some glass — completely my fault. The staff were incredibly helpful, got me patched up right away, and even replaced the items in the bag that may have been contaminated without me even asking. They handled everything proactively, and I really appreciated the care and kindness.

Trying to use the Pharmacy at Ridley's Family Market (Eagle Mountain) UT has been the most frustrating and bewildering experience I've ever had with any kind of "customer service" oriented business. The manager Luana has no manners and comes off immediately as being angry that you are disturbing her to do business there. Then if they decide they don't like you, it gets bizarre. The manager makes judgments about your medical condition and publicizes it to other employees. She tried to get "in between" me and my doctor as if she knew what was up. DON"T GO HERE if you can help it. Such ugly and unprofessional service should not be rewarded. I reported it to the store manager Nick Hoover who seemed very concerned and said he would call me back. When I didn't hear back from him, I called and he simply hung up the phone (the guy who runs the store simply hung up. He must set the tone for the store). Seems the Pharmacy manager had a story all outlined for this situation and the store manager seemed to buy into it. Nothing but games and intrigue going on it seems. Very unprofessional. The shame is that a number of the employees in the pharmacy, are friendly and helpful, but I hear they for the most part, hate working for her.
This is a bit of a rant, but this experience kind of culminated today and was so strange and unsettling, I had to say something.
FOLLOW UP: - After writing a "concerned" response, Ridley's never bothered reaching out to me from the executive team. I suspect they just respond to the review for the sake of those reading it without any intention of ever actually making contact. Unfortunately, Ridley's has demonstrated over and over again from my experience that they don't really care about the customer (pretty unbelievable the store manager just hung up on me). Normally, I would champion local businesses, but in this case, I can't do that. Shop somewhere else where they care.
FINAL FOLLOW UP: - We no longer do any business with Ridley's and it's true they won't miss us one bit, this is a major part of what is wrong with this store.

While commuting through Utah via our RV, we often make a stop at Ridley's Family Markets and adjoining ACE Hardware. Every time I've visited their stores, I'm never disappointed.
The ACE Hardware is amongst the best ACE Hardware stores I've ever visited with an extensive selection and the friendliest staff to assist you with whatever you may need.
Ridley's Family Markets have a fabulous produce department and extensive grocery selection. What makes Ridley's even more wonderful is their kind, and welcoming staff. Whether I've asked for help in the produce department, the deli, the floral department, and the cashiers... all have been welcoming, helpful and friendly. If I lived in Eagle Mountain this would be my market of choice.
