I wanna love this store, but it's just not like the other Macey's. The staff are rarely helpful and often border on snarky/irritated that they're being asked a question. The prices are much higher than other Macey's and when I have called to see if they have a product in stock (and been told yes), they almost never do when I drive to city center to get it... it's just so dang frustrating every time I walk in this store.

I’m really disappointed with Macey’s lately. The quality has gone downhill — the bakery constantly burns their rolls and bread, and the produce often looks old or past its prime. Items are out of stock far too often, and I’ve learned I have to check every single expiration date before putting anything in my cart because I keep finding expired products on the shelves. This used to be a reliable store, but lately it’s just frustrating every time I shop here.

The scale at self checkout never works and you wait forever for an employee to clear it. The "sales" often require a required number to be purchased but the signs never state it only the fine print on the tiny label they display which makes it difficult for the elderly to see and they end up being ripped off. There is zero customer service. Employees are rude and unhelpful. Being one of 2 small stores in town, both owned by the same person, prices are always high. You're better off using the gas to go to the new Walmart or even fight traffic for smiths. Also, you can earn points for money off but they expire and cannot be redeemed at self checkout which feels dishonest. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Interaction went like this
Butcher area opens. I call them: “hey could you guys save 6 pounds of pork bones for me that I can pick up this evening?”
Them: “Ye sure that’s fine”
I get there and go to the counter: “hey I’m here for the pork bones.”
The guy: hands me pork ears not even weighing a pound “this is all we have and all we do here.”
If you can’t fulfill an order don’t waste my entire day. Just say no so I can go somewhere else. Thanks for ruining Halloween dinner

The last two times I went there the food was wilted and rotten. I didn’t realize at the time when buying the salad but it was all wilted and slimy in the middle of the romaine hearts. The packaged cheese was moldy and slimy as well. The prices are so high. Thankfully Walmart just opened up nearby
